
Quiin Abenakyo, the former
Miss Uganda, has completed a major academic achievement when she received her
master's degree from the KAIST Graduate School of Global Digital Innovation
(GDI) in South Korea.
Abenakyo, well-known for being a model and beauty pageant winner from Uganda,
made headlines when she won Miss Uganda 2018.
She represented Uganda in the
esteemed Miss World 2018 pageant, which was hosted in China, thanks to her
triumph, which launched her onto the international scene. She received more praise
at the function after winning the title of Miss World Africa 2018.
Abenakyo made history at the pageant by performing exceptionally well in the
head-to-head challenge section and finishing in the Top 5. This was a
noteworthy accomplishment as it made her the first Ugandan to place so well in
the yearly pageant.
Throughout her time as Miss Uganda, Abenakyo showed a resolute dedication to
promoting girls' health and welfare, with a focus on teen pregnancy as a
critical issue.
In the "Beauty with a
Purpose" segment, she vehemently declared war on this social issue,
utilizing her platform to push for reform and increase awareness.
The announcement of Abenakyo's academic success has elicited a great deal of
