Nina Roz—the latest musician from Uganda to show interest in politics—confirmed
that she supports Bobi Wine. Since she hasn't seen much development in her
lifetime, the female artist sees herself as an advocate for change.
The ascent of singers pursuing leadership positions at different levels
coincided with Bobi Wine's foray into politics. Popular singer Nina Roz, whose
song "Omuliro" is among her credits, is advising the residents of
Sembabule to welcome this new transition.
Nina Roz was grateful for her
hometown of Sembabule's unfailing support, having been raised there.
She emphasizes that genuine change starts with local support and now exhorts
her community to support her prospective political aspirations.
In an attempt to overthrow Sarah Opendi, the current Tororo Woman MP, with whom
she has a running rivalry over property problems, Sylvia Owori has also
demonstrated her interest in entering politics.
