John Katumba well known as Katumba Oyee is Ugandan born in 1996,in Nalya. He was raised by relatives (uncles) because his parents died at the age of two. He studied at Zion Hill Standard Academy, later to Mukono and finally to Makerere University.
Politically when growing up, He was the Entertainment Prefect in Primary, Health Prefect and later Head Prefect. More so, at the age of 8 years where his goal to be the president started, and since he as being sponsored by his uncles, he had not possibly a good lack in finance. In his senior four, his uncle tells him, I can no longer take your studies forward, unless you go to a technical institute.
At Makerere University he studies Transport and Logistics then to Aviation School Soroti and later to Nairobi.
He goes ahead to state that, he has completed every project there is. From building bricks, washing cars, burning charcoal, and managing artists. He has a word for the musicians in Uganda as a result of this event.
More about him is, he is a former Presidential candidate 2021,and the youngest and also took a step to launch a book about his life “the untold story of Katumba Oyee” to inspire Ugandans in the Diaspora to not limit themselves to being “kadama” only but more important than that, and his mentality is to see Uganda competing on a global state. Being patriotic, he does not fight the state but the bad situation with in the society.

The government has a number of spies at the university, and after you become a leader, they start providing you some tiny money. When you graduate, they hire you at the university to keep you busy.
