Ugandans are of late spending reasonable amounts of cash on videos if the quality of videos being released is anything to go by. Edrine Paul is one of the videographers whose works is trending and it seems like most artistes are running to him for his services of videography.
After Bobi Wine and Nubians
Li’s song, Edrine Paul was back at it last night with Tetubafanana, a song by
Warafiki, a girls group signed to Fenon records.
The video was officially
released last night in an invite only event held at the Fenon Records offices.
Practitioners in the Ugandan music Industry from DJs, entertainment
journalists, artistes, managers and promoters among others were present for the
video release party.
Among these were singers
Levixone, Zuli Tums, Jowy Landa and Nandor Love. DJ Fikie, Bobby Da Illest and
Edrine Paul, the director behind Tetubafanana attended in person.
Before the video was played
on the screens, the girls were invited for a small performance were they did
two of their songs before the video was then played back to back on the big
screens.
Being someone who pays
attention to detail, Steve Jean, the proprietor of Fenon Records, the company
that signed the girls ensure the video was quality and that’s exactly what the
director did.
