In a press conference held at the Fangone Forest headquarters in Makindye, a city suburb, on Tuesday, September 19, singer Alien Skin (Patrick Mulwana) formally introduced rising young performer Champion Gudo (Deogratius Ssendiwala) and brought him back.
Alien Skin had been Champion Gudo's guardian until his father, Godfrey Kibuuka, chose him.
After Kampala Parents School awarded Gudo a place and a scholarship in August, the two men got into an argument. When it came to it, Alien began to hesitate.
If Gudo wasn't brought to Kampala Parents School, Kibuuka vowed to take action or drag Alien to the police.
The man claimed that Alien never requested him consent to take care of Champion Gudo. Kibuuka was met with criticism from the people when he pulled Gudo away from Alien.
When Gudo was just four months old, according to Gudo's brother, their father allegedly abdicated his duties.
The youngster was adopted by Alien, who began training him as an artist and small bodyguard after picking him up in the city suburb of Kawempe.
A show titled The homecoming of Champion Gudo Twagala Champion will be held in Lugogo on September 23, 2023, as Alien wishes to celebrate Gudo's homecoming.
Even though you just have two songs, Champion Gudo, we are planning this show for you.
On that show, I shall act as your bodyguard even though you are the one in charge of my security. After you finish singing your songs, you will perform my songs for the crowd in order to help us build your mother a nice home and several rentals, making you the country of Uganda's youngest landlord.
