Many people in the city have made connections between the extravagant gift that the singer received as a birthday present last year and businessman SK Mbuga.
Lydia Jazmine recently said in a radio interview that she received a generous contribution of Shs30 million from an unnamed benefactor when she was buying her Mercedes Benz.
She also disclosed that this was the most significant gift a fan had ever given her. She also brought up another instance in which she performed on stage in South Sudan and received almost Shs5 million from fans.
Lydia Jazmine, addressing to KIIS FM's Mckenzie, stated that the anonymous contributor was a fan of Ugandan music and had no ulterior motives.
