Shamim
Murerwa, better known by his stage name Omega 256 (occasionally stylized as
Queen of the West) and born on September 27, 1999, is a Ugandan singer,
performer, and songwriter who is affiliated with DIAGRAM EVOLUTION.
She
started making music at the age of 17, and in 2018, she managed to create her
breakthrough track, "NINTERWA," which was followed by
"WEEKEND," "KEEZA," "DEEP IN LOVE," and other
hits. She received recognition for being a Western artist of the year, a
Western song of the year, and a Dancehall song of the year in 2019. She also
received a Kwazul-Natal Choice Award for Best Song of the Year in 2020. (South
