iAsha Naava Grey popularly known as "Naava Grey" is a female Ugandan musician born on 18th March in Kampala District Uganda categorised in "R&B, Soul and Afro" music genres.
Naava started her music career in 2008 after she halted her studies and went to participate in the "Tusker Project Fame (TPF)" season 2 but she didn't reach the finals and stopped at the semi finals fortunately from there "Fenon Records" immediately signed her.
After Fenon Records signed her, she started working on her album titled "Naava Grey" which she started working on by early 2011 and in that year she first released two singles titled "Aliba Wani & Nteredde" off her album.
By early 2011, she had so far written 12 song s of her album and in 2015 she released her first album "Naava Grey" which had over 20 songs mixed and mastered by different music producers such as "Michael Fingaz, Legend P, Charlie King and Davi" all of the work being done at Fenon records.
In 2013, Naava got signed to "Sony Music Entertainment Africa and Rockstar 4000 Music Entertainment being responsible for "Publishing and Distribution" of her music and she partned with them to write songs for other artists under the music label and her deal with them is still on till now.
Naava got nominated in the 2016 HiPipo Music Awards in categories of "Best Song Writer, Album of the year and for the Best R&B song she won with Alib'omu and also she won the Club Muic Video Awards in category of Special Effects with Ninga Omuloge, New comer and Video Of the year as "Nteredde."
