Ngabirano Felix better known by his
stage name Velocity 256 is an East
African versatile artist from Uganda who was born on 3rd February,
1998 in Mbarara.
He does almost all the
genres of music but he is most interested in reggae, dancehall and R&B.
He started pursuing
the dream of being an artist all the way back in primary and after joining high
school his passion for music kept growing and he had his first studio session
when he was in senior two at Citizens'
High school and released a song titled "Come
Back Home" that was dedicated to his mother who had divorced with the
dad.
However much the song
was personal it earned him alot of popularity at school a thing that made him
proclaim himself a promising star in a few.
After achieving all
that high school stardom, he started writing music persistently and as they say
"practice makes perfect", Velocity being inspired by some Jamaican
and spaniard artists like Louis Fonsi, Daddy
Dankee ,Busy Signal, Konshens, Alkaline and Demarco he started composing songs in “patwa” and some other
thrilling ones in Spanish in his A level
His creativity in
music composition, freestyle on the stage and the way he always twisted foreign
languages (Spanish and patwa) dumbfounded everyone at school and that gave him
alot of motivation later in his senior six vacation he released his first official
single titled "Balance Da
Boat" that was produced by Jkayz Beats/Alpha Music Entertainment a
song that its story originates from lake Victoria boat accident incident that
happened on 25th November 2018
The song blew the
airwaves and that marked the beginning of velocity's journey in the music
industry
